SITE ENGINEERING WITH TDC

Thana Design and Construction Ltd provide site Engineering service to our clients. Our site engineers do similar jobs to construction ( site) managers on a construction project. Site Engineers manage part of construction project known as packages, providing technical advice, supervising staff on site and ensure that their packages are completed on time and within budget.

Our team of highly- skilled engineering surveyors use a combination of high-precision Global Positioning system(GPS), Robotic and standard EMD/Total Station, and Digital Levelling Techniques, allowing the most complex designs to be set out within the specified tolerance, depending on individual project requirements.

Package management

Our Site engineers are working closely with project management and design team to Ensuring the right information gets to sub-contractors or employees who is doing works

Site Control

Our team has significant experience in establishing and maintaining precise primary control on a wide range of construction projects. We use the latest technology, including total station instruments and GPS technology to establish primary and secondary control points at every stage of the project from the initial traverse to providing grid lines and datum. We can take the initial design and input the data into our tools to digitize coordinates, and we will establish accurate survey control networks.

Setting out

We can work AutoCAD to provide high quality, accurate survey data, no matter how complex is the design. Our surveyors take data and pin point the positions. Setting out features from pile works and drainage ,to above ground features such as brick work and stud walls . We use robotic EDM that giving us real time coordinates from National ordnance Survey data.

Issue RFI’s (Request for Information) and maintain RFI register

RFIs are generally required to clarify information in the contract documentation and drawings or to provide information that was not complete at the time the contract was agreed. 

Provide ITP and carry out Quality Assurance check 

Thana Design and Construction engineers will carry QA checks as per specification and drawings then provide copy QA documents to client to review and agree prior to progress further

Reinforcement calls off and inspection

Rebar, also known as reinforcement steel and reinforcing steel, is a steel bar or mesh of steel wires used in reinforced concrete and masonry structures to strengthen and hold the concrete in tension. Our engineers will ensure rebars deliver to site when it is needed and install correctly by steel fixer as per reinforcement drawing

As-Built Surveying

We can provide as-built surveys at any stage of development, where you need to monitor the construction taking place , the project level that has been achieved and whether the actual position of structural features matches the original design specification

Topographical surveys

We carry out topographical surveys and measured existing building surveyors, enabling the project to get off to the best possible start using the correct existing site information. Our topographical surveys are produced using a combination of Global navigation Satellite system, Robotic total stations and Digital levelling techniques to effectively capture data in two or three dimensions. An accurate topographical survey can be crucial to determine the next points of liaison in a construction Project, so our surveys are completed to accuracy requirements of within tolerance.
